“My 14 years at Arlington Soccer has meant a great deal to me. Not only has it allowed me to build amazing friendships and relationships with teammates and coaches and taught me time management, and leadership skills, but most importantly, it has taught me how to embrace challenges with confidence. My experience at Arlington has been unique as I have seen the game from three different perspectives, a referee, a coach, and of course a player. Stepping into each of these roles comes with their own challenges, but each one has helped shape me into the person I am today. Weather it's getting yelled at by parents when I'm in the middle of the field, and teaching me to stay calm under pressure, learning leadership by helping teach younger coaches the ropes, even when I may not be fully confident myself, or even the resilience and ability to bounce back when something may not go my way from a player perspective. These experiences have provided me the tools and mindset needed to pursue my future goals with confidence.”
