“Arlington Soccer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even before I started playing I consistently found myself around the club due to my older sister and mom’s involvement. My earliest memories include games at Longbridge (where I insisted upon doing cartwheels instead of watching my sister play), and assisting with tournament registration and gear distribution (where I spent my time coloring instead of handing out t-shirts). I grew up playing in the recreational program and, naturally, started travel the second I could.
My years in the travel program have taught me countless lessons: the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and leadership, to name a few…. Now that my time at Arlington Soccer is running out, I think about all the things I will carry with me. Of course, the club was a place for me to play soccer, but it is also where I developed the values I live my life by. Teamwork, Hard Work, and Discipline. Three ideals that have been instilled in me through my time with Arlington Soccer. Not only that, but I am certain that I will continue the relationships I have formed with my teammates and coaches.”
